Milan, 6 October 2017 – How can you pass from the bohemian atmosphere of the Boulevard du Fromage of a French town to the scents of the sea of the Plaza del Pescado in Spain, or to the cheerful conviviality of a Bierstraße in Central Europe? And how can you combine all this with the unique Italian fragrances in Via della Pasta?
All you have to do is visit TUTTOFOOD, at Fieramilano from 6 to 9 May 2019, where the International Excellence event will take centre stage for the very first time. This project will further increase the level of international representatives by means of a careful selection of agrofood excellence from Italy, Europe, and the rest of the world. Every sector will present a Guest Country, which will showcase their most representative products, thus making TUTTOFOOD the trade fair par excellence.
TUTTOFOOD 2019 will be full of new initiatives. One of them, will be the totally renewed layout, in which Italian and international exhibitors will showcase their best products, to grow together. The focus will be mainly on the authenticity and protection of brands and designation of origin of Italy’s products and those of the Guest Countries.
More in detail, the event has been developed in areas specifically designed to make the Country’s agrofood culture and products the shining star. Let’s have a look at these areas:
- Via della Pasta (in collaboration with PastaItalia-Aidepi; Italy)
- Boulevard du Fromage (Cheese; France)
- Plaza del Pescado (Fish; Spain)
- Fresh Produce Route (Fruits and vegetables; USA)
- Bierstraße (Beer; Germany)
- Place de la Chocolaterie (Chocolate; Belgium)
- Meat District (Meat; UK and Commonwealth countries)
- Tea Square (Tea; World)
But that’s not all! In fact, other activities will increase the presence of Italian and international buyers and professional operators coming from the most dynamic markets. A detailed international communication plan will make this project be known to everybody.
International Excellence will consolidate the growing internationalisation process that TUTTOFOOD is experiencing with every edition. This becomes clear examining the 2017 figures:80,146 certified professionals visited the trade fair (+2.5%), 23% of which came from 141 countries and 45% from non-European countries. 3,150 profiled buyers met 2,850 exhibitors, 500 of which came from abroad (+10%) in more than 30,000 events.
The road to TUTTOFOOD 2019 will be rich in initiatives and workshops, such as Milano Food City, the event, in which TUTTOFOOD’s exhibitors will showcase their products to all the foodies, citizens, and tourists across the city of Milan, during the week dedicated to quality food.
The institutions (Municipality of Milano, Lombardy region and Confcommercio Milano) have identified Fiera Milano and TUTTOFOOD as the ideal partners for Milano Food City, which, after the success of the first edition – launched last May during TUTTOFOOD 2017 – will be back to enliven Milan from 7 to 13 May 2018.
The partnership between TUTTOFOOD and Seeds & Chips – the Global Food Innovation Summit focused on topics, such as the impact technologies have on supply chains, food safety, health, social media and experience evolutions – has consolidated the role of hub of the agrofood industry. This summit will take place at Fieramilanocity from 7 to 10 May 2018, but it will be back again to TUTTOFOOD from 2019.
TUTTOFOOD is waiting for you at Milano Food City from 7 to 13 May 2018 and at fieramilano from 6 to 9 May 2019.
