THE 9th EDITION OF CISETA - THE FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE
Simultaneously with TUTTOFOOD, the 9th Food Science and Technology Conference - Call for papers
 
 
On 11 and 12 June, the ninth edition of one of the longest-lived conferences on Food Science and Technology will be held simultaneously with TUTTOFOOD.

The event, highly regarded by scientists and experts involved in research, innovation and development in our country’s food industry, has become a not to be missed occasion for the numerous and interesting synergies that come out of the encounters between different fields of expertise in the various sectors.
Over the two days of scientific discussion, questions of great interest to the whole food industry will be examined with the greatest methodological and professional rigour:
 
  • Innovation in the animal products sector
  • Innovation on the vegetable products sector
  • Innovation in the milk and milk derivatives sector
  • Technological innovazione and transfer
  • Biotechnologies, Genomics, Metabolomics
  • Safety and hygiene of machinery, transformation plant and production areas; microbiological and entomological aspects, residues and contaminants
  • Composition and quality of food products: methods of analysis, predictive techniques, sensorial analysis, microbiology, rapid methods, degradation reactions, chemiometrics, molecular markers
  • Physical and chemico-physical properties of foods
  • Ingredients and additives, flavourings, enzymes, functional products, sweeteners, legislation
  • Packaging, new solutions, container-food interaction, permeability, environmental impact, shelf-life.
  • Food microbiology: contaminants, HACCP, microorganisms, pathogens and alterants.


 
FOR THE AUTHORS
Those intending to present a paper or a poster are invited to complete the registration form and send it by 2 March 2009 together with a summary of no more than 200 words.


 
EXHIBITION
An exhibition of scientific apparatus produced for the industry and bibliographic material will be held together with the Conference. Interested companies are requested to contact the Commercial Office.
