26/10/2007 TUTTOFOOD BACKS SARDINIA’S IGP LAMB TUTTOFOOD confirms its committment to accompany its exhibitors along the road to openness to innovation, defence of traditions and attention to quality. This is the reason behind the workshop organized jointly by TUTTOFOOD and the Sardinia Region on 26 October last. In the historic setting of Fondazione Fiera Milano, Sardinia’s Councillor for Agriculture, Francesco Foddis, presented a strategy for the promotion and protection of Sardinian IGP Lamb to buyers from the major retail chains and journalists. “The road begins in Milan – explained the councillor – a city which has always been a crossroads for trade and the engine of Italian economy. It is not by chance that it starts from here, because it is necessary to go where the customer decides on what it will buy”. “For its part – says Michela Fischer, manager of the Milanese show – TUTTOFOOD is very happy to give prominence to these events. Indeed, one of the objectives of SIFA, the Fiera Milano company that deals with the food industry, is to spread a culture of attention to the product and the defence of excellence. This is just the first in a series of workshops that TUTTOFOOD is organizing in Italy and abroad to develop a new concept in trade fairs; no longer an appointment at regular intervals, but an on-going trait d'union between companies and distribution in all its forms”. |
