ORGANIC CRUNCHY SNACKS WITH ORGANIC FRUIT, GLUTEN-FREE AND WITH BALANCED NUTRIENT CONTIBUTION. Risalto Food srl has developed a new project creating an innovative food product, we launched the brand "nat.go!" on the market. These are crispy fruit snacks: composed by an external crispy pod based on pulses and cereals and filled with an anhydrous cream based on organic freeze-dried fruit. Nat.go proposes two flavors: strawberry and raspberry in single-portion bags of 30 gr. Nat.go! snack! are an excellent source of protein: the pod they are made, contains carefully selected pulses, such as chickpeas, yellow lentils and red lentils, and the fruit filling is enriched with noble whey proteins. Proteins contribute to the growth of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bones. Thanks to their interesting nutritional characteristics, our fruit snacks are a great products for sportsmen, students, or simply for those who want a healthy, nutritious and tasty snack. Another relevant nutritional feature of the Organic nat.go snacks! is the content of vitamins C and E, mainly derived from strawberry, raspberry and acerola. The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) has expressed an opinion on health claims related to vitamins C and E, establishing that sufficient scientific evidence exists to indicate that these vitamins present in foods contribute to regulate and improve different functions of the organism. Indeed, several scientific studies demonstrate the positive effects of vitamins C and E on human health: 1. Vitamin C plays an important antioxidant function: it contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress by protecting DNA, proteins and lipids from free radicals. 2. Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to the normal psychological function. 3. Vitamin C contributes to the normal formation of collagen, due to the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage and skin. 4. Vitamin C contributes to normal energy metabolism and reduction of tiredness and fatigue. 5. Vitamin C contributes to the maintenance of the normal function of the immune system. 6. Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron, making this component more soluble and bioavailable to the human body. 7. Vitamin C contributes to the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E. 8. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. The Organic nat.go! snacks do not contain gluten, a characteristic that makes them suitable for consumption by celiacs. Our research and development work has been scientifically supported by Professor Mariangela Rondanelli, a medical nutritionist at the University of Pavia.
