In collaboration with Climate Partner, a German company leader in the sustainability area, we joined the Carbon Neutral project in 2022. Thanks to this project we are able to calculate and reduce CO2 emissions during the production of our Trapanese Pesto with Avola Almonds and our Pistachio Pesto with Sicilian Pistachio, offsetting unabated emissions thanks to offsetting projects around the world. In this sense we have joined the wind energy project in the Nashik region of India, replacing part of the fossil energy, which is one of the main sources of CO2 emissions into the environment, with renewable wind energy. Thanks to our project we feed renewable wind energy back into the regional electricity grid of Newne, which powers all of India. Thanks to the contribution of Campo d'Oro, with the production of our Trapanese Pesto with Avola Almonds and our Pistachio Pesto, 4 wind turbines were installed with a total power of 6 megawatts. Therefore, those who buy our Carbon Neutral pesto make a clear and concrete contribution to climate protection. The Campo d'Oro Carbon Neutral Project has a duration of 3 years, until December 2026
