La Perla Christmas Tree is a product in the shape of the traditional Christmas tree made with white chocolate and salted pistachio paste. What's so special about it? The craftsmanship with which it is made. In fact, the three chocolate decorations that form the balls of the Tree are hand-applied one by one: 118 symbols of the constant search for excellence signed by La Perla di Torino. The salted pistachio mixture is poured into a mold and once dry it is ready to be decorated: first it is decorated with white chocolate dots, then milk chocolate ones and finally dark chocolate ones, rigorously all hand-applied one at a time. This also contributes to making each Christmas Tree unique, also thanks to the subsequent packaging process to which it is subjected: each Tree is in fact placed manually inside its own packaging and closed thanks to a La Perla di Torino branded ribbon closed with a bow also handmade. The procedure is the same as for Easter eggs, the aim is precisely to make chocolate the protagonist also of the Festivity in which panettone has always been the star: Christmas.
