Among the technologies that improve the quality and sustainability of crops, solutions for the competitiveness of companies and innovations for the traceability of products, digital is becoming increasingly popular in the Italian agri-food sector.
As a result of the difficulties Covid 19 The market of Agriculture 4.0, is split in momentum in the second half of the year, reaching a value of 540 million euros in 2020 (4% of the global market) and recording a growth of 20% compared to the previous year, in line with the pre-dawn trend, as emerges from the Smart Observatory.
Among the food traceability solutions available on the Italian market we can see the blockchain boom, whose presence has more than doubled in one year and that characterizes 43% of the available solutions.
