The TYPICALP project aims to promote and guarantee the traceability of dairy products through the creation of new traceability models with the latest technologies on the market. The new traceability model is applied in the Fontina DOP production chain, allowing the digitalization of the entire cheese production chain: milk productions, processing, seasoning, and packaging. The platform is developed with open-source programming languages and Distributed Ledger Technologies in order to preserve authenticity and immutablity of data.
