The Reunion
The Reunion is the annual meeting organized by the Italian Food Bank dedicated to companies having Corporate Social Responsibility as the founding value of their work.
The Reunion gives voice to Food Bank’s partners that tell their experience alongside the organization.
Through managers and business men’s speeches, the public discovers the strategic importance of collaboration between profit and non-profit and the specificity of the partnership with the Italian Food Bank expressed in a plurality of initiatives.
The Reunion is also an important opportunity to better understand the Food Bank identity through the voice and point of view of those who have decided to be their partner.
The Reunion ’21 edition
The 2021 edition of The Reunion, the seventh edition, will take place in a location that is well suited to Food Bank: TuttoFood exhibition. The theme of this edition is “sustainability”, defined as “development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs” (United Nations Conference on the Human Environment - 1972).
Sustainability is also a founding value of the Food Bank since its origin in 1989. In fact, the recovery of food for social purposes, for which Banco Alimentare was born, is an activity that concretely contributes to a more sustainable development of our planet.
The event is intended as a moment of encounter, a source of inspiration and comparison between companies that strongly believe in commitment to the communities in which they operate and consider sustainability an indispensable driver for development, innovation and change.
