Hi, I am Monica Cesarato, I am 51 and an Italian food and travel blogger. I was born near Venice and I pretty much always lived here, apart for a break of 11 years spent in the UK. As well as writing about Venetian and Italian food and about Venice and Italy in general, I also offer culinary tours of the city and I am a cooking instructor offering cooking classes. I am also a social media manager for various companies all based in Venice. I love to talk about food and Italy and share my experiences on Social Medias.

Sarde in saor, meaning Sweet & Sour Sardines, are a philosophy of life in Venice. They are the sneakiest of cicchetti because they drip, you can’t hold them in your hand and you have to put the fish and onion all together in your mouth. In short, you have to surrender to the use of the fork.
I have been selected as Brand Ambassador for TuttoFood Milan, one of the biggest International Food & Wine fair in Italy from May 17th till 20th 2021!
TUTTOFOOD Milano is the international B2B show dedicated to food & beverage and organised by Fiera Milano - which will be held from 17th to 20th May 2021!
One thing I am looking really forward to do, when I will attend @tuttofoodmilano from 17th till 20th May 2021, is the going to watch all the different cooking shows by the most famous chefs in the world!

It is one of the first Cicchetti I get people to try when visiting Venice, but funny enough I have never actually talked about it on my blog before now!

Sustainable agriculture and organic flours - the basis for great bread making! 2 years ago as @cookinvenice I visited Vallevecchia and Molino Rachello and found out all about organic flours!
One of the things I missed the most about not going to Venice and teaching people about Venetian Cicchetti and drinks around town?
