Tonitto 1939 is launching a new revolution in the world of packaging with a view to sustainability. The Ligurian company, a leader in Italy for sorbet and ice cream with no added sugar, has decided to continue its increasingly green project by opting for a new transformation in the packaging of one of its leading and most recognized products in Italy and abroad, namely sorbet. In fact, the latter will change from an R-Pet packaging to one made of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified cardboard, that is, paper from forests managed according to strict environmental, economic and social criteria and produced in an environmentally responsible way while maintaining a high percentage of recycled fibers. This change will allow Tonitto 1939 to fully comply with the company's philosophy of sustainability and, above all, thanks to the use of FSC Cardboard packaging, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by 75 percent compared to the use of PET plastic packaging of the same magnitude.
