Consumer choices and strategies of Italian companies to succeed in foreign markets
Over 20% of agricultural land in Italy is farmed organically, making us leaders in Europe as producers and processors. While domestic demand has yet to fully reach its potential, Italian organic production is internationally recognized as an excellence, symbolizing a sustainable production model that values biodiversity, quality, and the connection to the territory. This event aims to provide an in-depth look at the sector: from the field to foreign markets, analyzing the transformation stages and strategies to enhance the “Made in Italy Bio” brand not only in Europe but also in other international markets. After an introduction by AssoBio, European market data and consumer perceptions will be presented, followed by three successful companies sharing their experiences. It will be an opportunity for open dialogue between supply chains, businesses and associations to jointly outline the future of this strategic sector for the Italian economy. Moderated by Armando Garosci, Director of Largo Consumo, the conference will be held on May 7, 2025, at 4:30 PM, as part of TUTTOFOOD.
