As the ribbon-cutting ceremony of TUTTOFOOD — at fieramilano from October 22nd to 26th — draws near, the schedule of events at Retail Plaza, the now firmly established event-space par excellence for debating innovation in Italian large-scale retail, grows ever more extensive.
Here are some of the latest titles confirmed for the programme. Starting on Friday the 22nd of October from 14:00 to 15:00 with Omnichannel and increasingly personalised services: the Retail of tomorrow. Moderated by Armando Garosci, Editorial Director of Largo Consumo, this session will explore different aspects of personalisation over multiple channels with Daniele Bruttini, Founder, Quomi; Giovanni D'Alessandro, General Manager, Basko - Sogegross Group; and Simone Pescatore, Marketing and Communications Manager, Bennet. Saturday the 23rd of October from 10:30 to 11:30 will then feature New formats of Large-Scale Retail, moderated by multidisciplinary expert Giuseppe Stigliano, Global CEO at Spring Studios and Professor of Retail Marketing Innovation, IULM, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Polytechnic University of Milan. Analysing novel sales formats alongside him will be Giorgio Santambrogio, Managing Director, VéGé Group and General Manager, VéGé Retail and Domenico Brisigotti, Sales Manager, COOP Italia.
Still on Saturday 23rd October and once again featuring Giuseppe Stigliano, from 12:00 to 13:00, the spotlight will be shone on Focus on Discount, a topic provoking lively debates in the industry, which will be discussed with Patrizio Podini, Founder, Chairman and General Manager, MD, and Massimiliano Silvestri, Chairman, LIDL Italia. Professor Stigliano also returns on Sunday the 24th, from 12:00 to 13:00, to talk about another extremely topical issue: The Future of Food Delivery. Sharing their viewpoints with both him and the public will be Elisa Pagliarani, General Manager, Glovo Italia, and Matteo Sarzana, General Manager, Deliveroo Italy, and Chairman of Assodelivery.
That afternoon, Sunday the 24th of October, from 15:30 to 16:30, another key player in the media industry will be entrusted with moderating, Cristina Lazzati, Editor-in-Chief of Mark UP and Gdoweek. The topic featured is one of the most intriguing: Healthy Food - Happy Customers, or how to respond to health trends to ensure customer satisfaction.
