TUTTOFOOD and Coldiretti together in New York to increase internationality. Italy was a partner Country this year, as exports to the U.S. grew by nearly 30% in the first half of 2022.
The partnership of Filiera Italia and Coldiretti with Fiera Milano and TUTTOFOOD is more and more consolidated, with the aim of supporting Italian agri-food companies of excellence by promoting a continuous improvement of competitiveness in international markets. From June 12 to 14, Coldiretti and TUTTOFOOD joined together the 2022 Summer Fancy Food in New York, the largest event in the United States dedicated to quality food and beverages, organized by the Specialty Food Association. Italy was a partner Country in this edition and was present with a large collective exhibition, the Italian Pavilion, which represented nearly 280 companies and hosted the stand of Coldiretti to which TUTTOFOOD was linked.
A presence of great importance if we consider that, according to the estimates by Filiera Italia and Coldiretti, only in the first six months of 2022 Italian agri-food exports to the United States grew by 21.9% and within five years the U.S. might become the leading world export market for Made in Italy agri-food products. This can only be achieved by supporting the distinctive values of the Italian agri-food supply chain, such as quality, sustainability, and the link between tradition and innovation. On the other hand, thanks to the presence of very demanding consumers and very high production and food safety standards, Italy is an excellent benchmark for international companies wishing to enter new European and global markets.
In this context, the alliance with Coldiretti further strengthens the internationalization of TUTTOFOOD and its role as a world-to-world interchange platform in view of the next edition of the event, which will be held at fieramilano from May 8 to 11, 2023.
